I was born an artist, I love it and have grown a desire to become eclectic, or multidisciplinary - one of those creatives who will do anything with anything. Almost. Whenever people ask me what kind of art I create, I say: 'How long have you got?'
As a schoolgirl I won art and writing competitions. My first piece of writing was an innocent fairy tale about toadstools and gnomes, which won a local prize. Most of my adult years were spent in art collages, working in art studios or doing anything remotely creative.
During my teens my fascination for the wild west evolved, intriguing for a young UK lass, I always thought. I also began to feel irritated by the lack of decent roles for women in westerns, much less the fastest gun, so I created my own western woman.
Jeannie Morgan alias Delaney, my cheroot chewin', gun slingin' gal was born. Years later, after creating many illustrations of her and dreaming up a storyline for her, my husband persuaded me to write that story dammit! It only took forty years later to finish and self publish, but better later than never.
I'm also a bit of a renaissance soul, one of those folks who have zillions of interests and hobbies, and Leonardo da Vinci is my hero. One of my goals is to become a well-known artist! You never know - that could happen yet.
A further, long and painful, part of my story is that I suffer from moods and depression, which prevents me from doing so much. I write about that on my blog, Jo-B-Creative. I have an enormous desire for a reasonably adventurous life to be shared with my hubby, and writing about my adventures and creativity on my blog. This is yet to be achieved, but, as I say, better late than never!
Finishing on a very positive note, my family are my greatest fans and that includes my lovable cat Lulu.
